Wilmerrrrr!!
2, 2, 2 scoops in 1! This is the middle infield we expected. Niese is a ground-ball pitcher. Flores (and Murph) need to fucking HIT!! Otherwise, it’s just not worth having such crappy defense.

Last night, Gary Cohen said, “When you look at the best rotations int he NL, sometimes you can get distracted by the ones that are top heavy. The Dodgers are the prime example. They had Brandon McCarthy going last night. He wouldn’t be in the Mets rotation.”
Of course, this matters less when you have A-Gon Targaryen and Cubano Cubano Cubano Puig.
The Dodgers are all sizzle and no steak? Not quite. But Gary’s point is valid. This weekend is a huge test for the Mets. We supposedly have a complete rotation. We believe Niese and Gee are strong; 13+ game winners each. They are facing the bad-on-paper but in 1st place/undefeated Braves…in Atlanta. Let’s see what the back-end of our rotation can do.
And the other real test: we are facing left-handers now. We gotta wreck them with our lineup. Mayberry, Cuddyer, Wright, d’Arnaud. We gotta. Tonight, we face Eric Stults, a mediocre lefty. Captain America should be licking his chops. Let’s go.
Mets 6, Nats 3.
2 outta 3 in D.C.!! Happy motherfucking Harvey Day!!
2 outta 3 in D.C. Wow. Can’t say it enough. Great way to start the season. On pace for 108 wins. Or hell, let’s go 161-1. Fuck yeah.
Happy #HarveyDay woooot!! Desmond really sucks, huh?
I’m in PR with Beltran and Delgado. We’re getting our Terry Collins tans on.
Like Keith Hernandez, it took till game 3 for me to go on vacation.
Nats 2, Mets 1. Tomorrow it’s Harvey vs. Strasburg for the rubber game.
Game Ball to the grounds crew. Such gamesmanship.
This is what we’ve come to expect from the Mets. Win 3-1, lose 2-1, etc. Hopefully we can be on the winning end more often than not…
Should we trade the farm for Tulo to break this cycle?
P.S. “New York Community Bank” is the new hot local commercial jingle of the year. It hasn’t reached “Cellino & Barnes” or “Pickin You Up Dial 7” status yet. We’ve yet to learn how replay-able it is.
If you think Jordan Zimmerman didn’t have advanced knowledge of the fabricated rain delay, I’ve got a bridge to sell you. It left deGrom cold and that’s why he let up that dinger to Ryan Zimmerman. So many Jew Zimmermans.
They didn’t even put the tarp on the field! It didn’t rain! Gamesmanship from the division champs. Lesson learned. They won’t relinquish the throne easily.
P.S. Keith mentioned he thought it was a phony bologna rain delay. Keith knows.
P.P.S. J. Zimmerman’s letting up hits anyway!
The Nats have called a rain delay. Are they kidding? It’s not even drizzling. There’s not even tarp on the field!
People of D.C.: Please remember to comfort your puppies during the thunderstorm. They’re all bark and no bite.

Hoooooly shit. Am I too jacked for game 2? Probably. But look at what’s ahead of us: We have deGrom and Harvey taking the hill for a chance to WIN or perhaps even SWEEP a SERIES in WASHINGTON?! Is that real? Is that a possibility? Yup.
The reality is that with this rotation, we can win any series, including a certain series that I won’t mention but it rhymes with hurled schmearies.
I’m sure our hitting and our owners will find ways to screw this up, but you’ve gotta love our chances.

Mejia not dead, according to the “news” from the bought-off Jew media.
Mejia not dead, says a mortician.
He’s just day-to-day (aka dead). Just an opening day cortisone shot. What’s wrong with that? HGH shots, anyone?
It’s just inflammation. They say he may not even need DL right now. Just 10 days on the active roster and then the DL. Might as well keep the bench as short as possible.
“Well it depends on what you mean by structural damage. Because the skin on the outside is fine. Maybe a little dry.” -Sandy
“We’ve got aloe.” -Terry
UPDATE: 15 day DL. Hopefully nothing worse. He’s dead.

Yesterday, after the Mets won, Terry Collins addressed the media. He said that Tolo looked sharp and that our hitting looked like shit, but we’re now a good enough team to take advantage of doodoo fielding. Basically he said that we looked bad but the Nats looked worse.
He spit the unequivocal truth; the Nats ain’t shit.
And we’re no longer so shitty that we can’t take advantage of 4-out innings.
The takeaway from yesterday is that we were given extra outs and we won.
I just like that Terry called both teams out. Pundits (aka people paid by the Jewpons to make TC look bad) say he throws his players under the bus but I don’t think that’s true. I think he cares a LOT. Yes, the starting pitching was stellar, but we’re trying to change our identity at the plate (from dogshit doody hitting to competence) and he’s going to talk about it.
Regardless of what we think we can be at the plate, we should expect a lot of 3-1 games. If it’s in our favor, I’m cool with it.
