UPDATE: Deal is for Dilson! Dilson (and Wotell) not Nimmo. FUUUUUUCK. That’s SO MUCH MORE to give up. Dilson is a much better prospect than Nimmo. Mets BLOOOOOW. Also we apparently got Niese back haha.

Nimmo will be good, maybe? Nimmo and two low-level prospects for Jay Bruce. Welp, we’ve got a cleanup hitter now. We’ve got someone behind Yo. It’s good for now.

But this concerns me for the offseason. I see the Jew wheels of manipulation turning. We’re gonna let Yo walk and say that’ its ok because we have Bruce. The Piazza ceremony really showed how we never EVER have nice things. We gave Piazza 7 years and he deserved it and the returns are still glorious. He’s still helping the Jewpons rake it in. Pay Yo. He doesn’t need 10 years. Give him 5. Give him something. We’d be in last place without him. Pay him.

Jesus Returns to Help deGrom, Mets

It’s so obvious! Nimmo hits his first dinger, and after the game he said, “thank the lord, thank the lord!”

Jesus is back! He hath returned. Does Nimmo hate gays as much as Murph? Probably not, so therefore he’s not as good of a Christian, but Jesus is with us again.

deGrom didn’t have a win since April 30 despite an ERA under 3. Great job, team. Way to support your boy. Jesus didn’t make it easy for deGrom to get through 5. He looked very sharp but multiple rain delays may have taxed his arm.

We live and die by the dinger. 5 dingers last night (2 for Dru, 1 for Lonestar, Yo, and Nimmo). Glad to see we can still hit them on occasion.

Uhh hey Terry, he’s there to play! Cespedes can’t slide. Maybe give him a day? At least pinch run for him. De Aza doesn’t run out bad bunts in extra innings. Maybe bench him? Nimmo better be in the starting lineup tomorrow.

deGrom knew it was zeroes or bust, put up zeroes, and still didn’t get the win. He’s such a class act; I’m sure he just said that he’s happy the team got a win, but maaaan that’s gotta eat away at a pitcher. The Mets haven’t scored a run while he’s been on the mound in over 20 innings.
